1. Introduction
WorldCup Hub ("the Protocol", "we", "us") is an experimental, pseudonymous prediction protocol built on Solana for the FIFA World Cup 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Protocol you agree to these practices.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:
- Wallet address · a Solana public key you connect voluntarily. This is pseudonymous and publicly visible on-chain.
- Prediction data · match picks, stake amounts, odds accepted, and settlement outcomes stored locally in your browser and optionally synced to our Supabase database.
- Email address · only if you opt in to our update list. Never shared with third parties.
- Usage analytics · anonymous page-view data (no cookies, no fingerprinting). We use self-hosted analytics only.
3. On-Chain Data
All prediction transactions are submitted to the Solana blockchain and are permanently public. Wallet addresses, stake amounts, and match outcomes are visible to anyone. We cannot delete or modify on-chain records. Do not connect a wallet you wish to keep fully private.
4. Local Storage & Cookies
Your bet history and wallet preference are stored in your browser's localStorage for convenience. We do not use tracking cookies. Session state is maintained client-side only. Clearing your browser data removes all locally stored information.
5. Database (Supabase)
If you submit a prediction through the dashboard, bet metadata (wallet address, match ID, stake, odds, side) is written to our Supabase database. This data is protected by row-level security · only your wallet can read your own records. We do not sell this data and use it solely to power the portfolio analytics tab.
6. Third Parties
We integrate the following external services:
- Phantom / Reown AppKit · wallet connection. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Helius RPC · Solana RPC endpoint for transaction submission and price feeds.
- Jupiter Aggregator · used for USDC/SOL price quotes. No personal data is sent.
- flagcdn.com · flag images served from their CDN. Standard CDN access logs apply.
7. Geofencing
Users in jurisdictions where prediction markets are prohibited may be restricted from accessing certain features. We detect country at the network level using your IP address solely for compliance purposes. IP addresses are not stored.
8. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personally identifiable data we hold (email, if provided). Because wallet addresses are pseudonymous and on-chain records are immutable, we cannot delete blockchain data. To request data deletion, contact us on X (@worldcuphubsci) or Telegram.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Protocol evolves. Material changes will be announced on our X account. Continued use of the Protocol after changes constitutes acceptance.
