1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WorldCup Hub ("the Protocol"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Protocol. The Protocol is EXPERIMENTAL software provided as-is. Use at your own risk.

2. Eligibility & Geofencing

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use prediction markets. Users located in jurisdictions where prediction markets, sports betting, or related activities are prohibited are not permitted to use this Protocol. We may enforce geographic restrictions at our discretion. Attempting to circumvent geofencing restrictions is a violation of these Terms.

3. Nature of the Protocol

WorldCup Hub is a decentralised prediction protocol on Solana. It is:

  • Not a licensed betting operator in any jurisdiction.
  • Not financial advice · nothing on this platform constitutes investment, financial, or legal advice.
  • Not affiliated with FIFA, any national football association, or any World Cup sponsor.
  • An experimental platform · features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

4. The $WCHUB Token

$WCHUB is a utility token used within the WorldCup Hub ecosystem. $WCHUB:

  • Has no guaranteed monetary value.
  • Is used to access prediction flows and earn protocol rewards.
  • Is not a security or investment instrument.
  • May have limited or no liquidity at any given time.

Acquiring or holding $WCHUB does not constitute an investment contract or entitlement to profit.

5. Predictions & Stakes

When you submit a prediction:

  • You are staking USDC or SOL on the outcome of a World Cup 2026 match.
  • Stakes are locked until the match result is finalised on-chain.
  • Payouts are determined by fixed odds at time of prediction submission.
  • All transactions are final and irreversible on the Solana blockchain.
  • We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund any submitted prediction.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Protocol if you are in a prohibited jurisdiction.
  • Attempt to manipulate match data, odds feeds, or settlement outcomes.
  • Submit predictions using automated bots or scripts at scale.
  • Use the Protocol for money laundering or other illegal financial activity.
  • Impersonate other users or the WorldCup Hub team.
  • Attempt to exploit smart contract vulnerabilities.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PROTOCOL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We are not liable for any lost stakes, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from use of the Protocol.
  • Smart contract bugs, blockchain network failures, or oracle errors may result in loss of funds. We are not responsible.
  • Match data is sourced from third parties and may contain errors.

8. Intellectual Property

The WorldCup Hub interface, design, and non-blockchain code are © 2026 The WorldCup Hub Project. All rights reserved. On-chain protocol code is open source under the MIT licence where indicated.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be announced via our official X account (@worldcuphubsci). Your continued use of the Protocol after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of a neutral jurisdiction to the extent applicable. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us via X or Telegram.
